How I Build a $10k Side Hustle Selling Notion Templates
What helped me not to quit at the start?
Every achievement is the result of the efforts to put in every day. Starting something from scratch and taking it to a certain point is a big thing.
I did the same with my Notion template business.
I start with hope and out of curiosity. That led me to a $10k side hustle.
99% of the creators I have started with have already quit and are nowhere to be seen.
What can be the reason?
After 2 years in the Notion business, I figured out some mistakes those creators made, but I did not. That can be the reason I'm still here.
Let's talk about it. So that if you're in your beginner notion creator phase, you don’t make these mistakes.
1. Start now, figure out later
Only the creator with this mindset grows online because if you're someone who is trying to do everything in the perfect way at the start, you're part of the 93% crowd who have skill but never take their first step.
When I was a beginner Notion creator ( after launching 2 to 3 templates ), I used to talk to many other newbie creators who started with me.
While talking to them, I realized they have the skill, but they are so underconfident in putting themselves out there that they never end up launching their first product.
Your first step is everything. If you never walk a mile, how will you know what the journey holds?
So, it is not about the skill but your desire to take the first step.
If you think you must know everything before starting, that's impossible.
So the best way is start now and figure out the things in the process.
2. Fall in love with the process, and money will come.
Money is always an outcome of the efforts you put into something. If you bluntly build the product and just want it to make money, it's not gonna work.
You need to do something you love so that you can also enjoy the journey, not just the outcome.
As my fav creator says, be the process-obsessed, not the outcome-obsessed. When you love what you do, people will love your work.
If you choose anything just for money, it won't work.
3. Improve every day
To master any skill, you need to practice every day. The more you do it, the better you do it.
If you love writing, write a little every day.
If you love building, build every day.
Doing the thing you love every day is a way to SUCCESS.
Practice does make you perfect.
So that's it for today. I will post more stuff here in the upcoming days. Till then, stay healthy and stay safe.
